Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – With the vitriol and threats of violence against law enforcement at an all-time high, the President of Broward County’s largest police union has called on his membership, as well as all of those that support the police, to patronage Wings Plus in Coral Springs, Fla., as a result of the backlash the proprietor is receiving for his public support of law enforcement.

The owner, Brian Walsh, Sr., recently posted a letter on Facebook he received complaining about the hanging of a banner at his establishment that read, “Wings Plus Supports All Law Enforcement God Bless America!”

“This is just another twisted, cop-hating Broward resident who unfortunately echoes some of the same sentiments as several of our local elected officials grandstanding for votes,” said Jeff Marano, Broward County PBA President.

The letter, written anonymously, stated that since Walsh “support(s) killing and murdering law enforcement” this customer will “choose to support local businesses that stand for what’s right.” The letter writer added, “At a time when police officers are killing innocent and unarmed men, women, and children in this country, your message to the world made your personal views loud and clear.”

Wings Plus is located at 9880 West Sample Road.
