AS OF MIDNIGHT NOVEMBER 13, 2015, YOUR PBA BENEFITS WILL EXPIRE. CONTACT THE PBA OFFICE TO ENSURE THAT YOU REMAIN A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING.

KEEP YOUR PBA MEMBERSHIP ACTIVE!
Be smart! Stay protected with PBA’s Proven Legal Defense!

WHY: The Broward PBA has always been known to provide its members the best legal services and representation. Despite changes in the bargaining representative, the Broward PBA can still represent you in disciplinary investigations, disciplinary cases, legal defense benefit cases (civil and criminal) and CJSTC cases. We can represent you in grievances too!

Retaining your PBA membership also allows for participation in the P.L.A.P. (Prepaid Legal Assistance Plan). You will be provided an attorney (no cost) for the following: Initial consultation, disciplinary proceedings including certification hearings and state attorney appearances for matters not within the course and scope of employment, divorces, (non-contested) worker’s compensation claims, purchase and or sale of primary residence, off-duty traffic infractions, simple or living will.

HOW: We have established a method of payment which will insure your dues remain on a payroll basis. Your bi-weekly dues will now be $21.52. If you have an AFLAC policy, your premiums will also be paid in this manner. You can also opt to be billed on a quarterly basis. You must contact the PBA office to ensure that your membership is not interrupted.

As always, you can count on the PBA!

Thank you for your continued loyalty and support!
