Broward PBA Convention Hall

The Broward County PBA Hall is available for rental by reservation only. Contact us by using our online form or for more information. To visit the hall please stop by between the hours of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday - Friday. All other times are by apointment only which can also be made by using the online form.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted inside the Hall or Boardroom. There is a designated smoking area outside the rear (west) doors on the patios.

Tables/Chairs

The PBA Hall has available (25) 72" round, (9) 60" round, (15) 96" and (17) 72" rectangle tables along with 275 padded chairs. It is the responsibility of the Caterer to set up and breakdown these tables and chairs for the event.

Two portable bars, and two electric beer coolers, are available for use by the renter. No kegs are allowed in the facility.

Capacity

200 to 250 maximum.
Banquet (72" diameter round tables and Chairs 240
Dance floor (15 x 15) available for rental for $50.00 including set up and breakdown by PBA upon request).

 

Hours of Rental - Hall only

11:00 am - midnight
Time frame includes setup and cleanup.

Boardoom only

8:00 am to 6:00 pm
no food or alcohol served from the Boardroom.

Fees

PBA Hall only

Friday, Saturday & Sunday = $1,300.00

1/2 deposit required to hold date
Balance due 2 wks prior to event.

Mondays - Thursdays = $1000.00

Boardroom only

$200.00 for a maximum of four hours.

Small parties (under 75 people)

An hourly rate may apply upon availability.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of an event within 2 weeks of event date will result in a cancellation fee of $200.00.

Cleanup/Security Deposit

It is the obligation of the Renter/Catering Service to remove all decorations, pick up trash and place in bins outside of the building on the SW corner. Hall garbage cans are available for renter use, but must be emptied by the client/caterer. Nothing may be left overnight.

A security deposit of $500.00 will be collected at time of final rental payment to be held until after the event. This deposit will be returned to the renter in a timely manor upon final inspection of property whereas no damages or abuse is detected to the premises.

Police Detail
The PBA may require one or more uniformed Broward Sheriff's Deputies to be provided at the renter expense during the event hours. (Phone # (954) 831-8199) police detail office.

Decorations/Setup
No equipment and/or materials will be allowed to be leaned or placed against the walls or any painted surfaces. You must have prior written approval of the PBA prior to the hanging of any banners inside or outside of the Hall.

No nails, staples, tabs or glue are permitted to secure items to the walls, ceilings, or chandeliers
No confetti, rice, glitter, or sequins will be allowed on the premise.
No open flames, candles, or floating candles are allowed.

Alcoholic Beverages

All alcoholic beverages served at an event will be handled by the caterer/bartenders. No alcoholic beverages will be permitted to be sold at an event.
